Welcome to the Kumamoto SGG Club!

Our Systematized Goodwill Guide Club, established in 1998, is a volunteer group offering guide services in Kumamoto City and its surrounding areas to visitors from overseas. We have 40 members who can guide in English, Chinese, or Korean. SGG groups are registered with JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organization).

Kumamoto suffered severe damage from the Kumamoto Earthquakes in April 2016. Tremendous efforts have been made to restore the stricken areas, but there is still a long way to go till completion. It is a great chance to see the restoration process for yourself, as well as to learn about the rich history and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of Kumamoto.
